Greeting

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.

During my time at a consulting firm, I came to a profound realization. Japan’s universities and research institutes possess many outstanding technological seeds capable of changing the world. However, most of them never make the leap into the private sector and remain buried, never blossoming into businesses.

“We must change this. Move the world with Japan’s knowledge.”

With this conviction in my heart, I began a new challenge together with two fellow researchers who share my passion in my field of solar physics. This is how Space Weather Company was born.

The era when space development was dominated by a few nations and giant corporations has ended. We are now at the dawn of a “New Space” era, in which countless private players are entering the field. However, this bright future faces two serious and imminent threats: the rapid increase of “space debris” and the hazards of “space weather.” If left unaddressed, the space infrastructure humanity has built could become dysfunctional, closing off future possibilities.

To bring order to this cosmic turbulence, we have united a world-class team of solar physics and AI researchers with a radar development team possessing top-tier technical capabilities. Our “next-generation ultra-high-precision debris radar” visualizes threats in space that no one has ever seen before and, for the first time in the world as a private company, captures 1 cm-class debris with ultra-high precision. Our “Space Weather AI” accurately detects changes in the space environment that have been difficult to predict and forecasts the orbits of satellites and debris with high precision.

Furthermore, our Space Weather AI provides cutting-edge solutions to protect and maximize the value of irreplaceable space assets for a wide range of customers — from insurance and finance to telecommunications, aviation, autonomous systems such as drones, and national security. Through these two core technologies, we deliver new standards of “safety” and “efficiency” to all space users.

Thanks to the generous support of NEDO and recognition from national programs such as the Cabinet Office’s S-Booster, our challenge is now evolving — in collaboration with NICT and Kyoto University — into a project that represents Japan.

Space Weather Company is more than just a single enterprise. By bringing together the best of Japan’s science and technology, we aim to create a sustainable future in space and contribute to Japan’s revival as a leading space technology nation. That is our unwavering mission.

Please look forward to the future of space — and our future.

Our Mission

Built on Space Weather AI and next-generation radar technologies,
we realize a safe and sustainable world
where humanity can use space with confidence.

By leveraging “space weather” and “radar technology,” we dramatically enhance safety in space, solve the challenges facing today’s space industry, and support space development from an environmental perspective.

Our ambitions extend beyond low Earth orbit. In the future, we aim to deploy our AI technologies to the lunar Gateway and Mars exploration as part of the Artemis program, contributing to the expansion of humanity’s operational domain in space. We envision Space Weather Company’s technologies becoming indispensable infrastructure for future space activities.

Company Overview

We primarily develop Space Weather AI in Tokyo and next-generation debris radar in Kyoto. Solving fundamental challenges in the safe use of space is the mission shared by our entire team, and we are committed to realizing sustainable space utilization.
